I'm happy to read this I'm so long waiting for a HMS Hermes kit in 1/700!!!

And now it comes from one of the best company today

Would it be the Falkland fit 1982 ? ( i hope so but othe versions are also o.k for me )

Perhaps you can give us some more informations about future projects? I have seen somewhere drawings of a Gerald Ford carrier ( sonic model site) in this context and other people are speaking about a spanish carrier "Pricipe de Asturias R11" and the spanish aegis destroyer "Balvaro de Bazan F 100" from Orange Hobby?

amazing news about the Hermes!! will for sure buy 2 version of it,if not all 3 + a possible mistral!!! I now have all the kits so far from orange hobby in 1 /700 ,and the quality is just stunning.

HMS Hermes 1982!--Haven't heard better modeling news for a long, long time --thought it would come, now I'm half way through a scratch- build version.
A 1 350 version would be perfect too, especially given OrangeHobby's obvious superb standards.Thanks to Orangehobbies.

Excellent news, as the first three models have been superb so i know the Hermes will be great.

Nice move with the 4 era's of the ship from 60s Royal Navy strike carrier to 70s Commando Carrier, 1982 Falklands War flagship and in her current service with the Indian Navy.

It means we should see some rather nice aircraft to go with the carriers too.

The Bazan F100 is a nice touch, as like the LHD its also the basis of the next Australian Destroyer

Christoph Mentzel.... you and I have been waiting for this for TOO Long It has been since 2006 since I have tried to reach another company to produce this kit. I think we Both will look forward to this kit, and its from O H, ( I have every new ship that has come out from this company!! )!!

Excellent news! There are unfortunately not that many modern ships in the frigate/destroyer category available outside the Royal Navy, US Navy, Russian Navy, Japanese Navy, Chinese Navy, Italian Navy and German Navy. Any new kit is welcomed!

The Korean KDXII, KDX III, the Dutch LCF, the Danish Iver Huitfeldt, the Indian Delhi etc. would be other interesting candidates.
