I saw mention in an earlier thread that Pontos were looking to do sets for the Tamiya New Jersey & Missouri - I hope this is the case as I'll be first in the queue for both

John
John,

Missouri and New Jersey will come out November 2012.
But if Trumpeter will release this soon we can change our schedule some earlier.

Thank you

Does this mean that Trumpeter is releasing a new-tool Missouri?

Hi Kim,
I appreciate that you must be busy but any news on when you will start shipping these sets? I know Im being impatient but sitting under the letter box is uncomfortable! :joker:
Thanks,
Rob.

Rob,
Please do not stay and check on the post box by this week.
We've just started to ship the orders.
Main delaying problem was the resin parts supplying.
Shipping order is the ordering order.
The first shipping lot is being shipped Preorders at Telford.
I think almost orders will be arrived by next week.
I am sure all who got this set will be happy surely surely.

As our return for delaying, we are adding the Anti torpedo net patch material for the folding type...
About 400mm(16inch) width and 100mm(4inch) height. With this size net patch you can realize folding ATN both sides.

Thank you for your patiences.

Hi Kim,
Thanks for the update, Telford orders first :woo_hoo: .

Im only being greedy as I havent finished Scharnhorst yet but I have been won over by Dreadnoughts interesting lines and open bridge.

I have no concerns over the quality of the set, if it is as good as Warspites I will be a very happy modeller.

Thanks again :thumbs_up_1: ,
Rob.

A suggestion - of courst it could be too late for this (sorry, I was on vacation and out of the loop when the pictures were first posted):
Could the bottom of the net be etched with the same drape as the top rather than straight? (I doubt the original nets were made to compensate for the drape between support points and maintain a perfectly level bottom - I could be wrong, of course. Anyone who knows, please speak up.) If it's too late to change it, I'll still order a set - I'll just have to cut it to shape myself.

- Sean F.
Sean,
Surely there is no photo showing the bottom area after spreading net.
And the straight line is the best because Modelers can cut or grind the shape as they wish(tHough this is stainless steel material).

Thank you
Kim
Thanks for the reply. I know how hard it is to find information on those nets. In fact, my one disappointment with the Anatomy of the Ship book on Dreadnought was the lack of information about what the bottom of the net looked like and how deep it was. The only thing I've found that shows the bottom of a net is this shot:
http://ww2db.com/images/ship_yamashiro12.jpg
where it looks like they're pulling it back up. At the middle of the ship it's still fully extended, but the bottom is submerged so I can't see how it hangs between the booms without the sailors pulling it up in between. (I'm going to assuming the same sag as the top of net between the booms when I build mine).
I'm really looking forward to this set!

Rats. I can't wait until April/May without loosing momentum on my Revell Bismarck. I rarely restart a kit once stopped. Hoping to enter my first contest in February. Scaledecks also looks like it will not make the deadline, so may have to go with the only deck currently available. 3rd choice is a bummer.

Bismarck/Tirpitz Woodecks for Revell developing is finished...
Now I am confused for whether I should make two versions for Kit statandard and for third party PE set version.
And then I should draw Manuals and should pass this to the printer.
And come to at 21th Dec.
