As for the Chevalier,it doesn't on our project now and sorry,
we have no time to research whether Gearing kit could fit Chevalier or not.
Hope you can understand !

Really, it's a beautiful set for a beautiful kit. Who could ask for more?

The set looks very nice, but ...

One problem I see with this PE set.

The quad 40-mm mounts on GEARINGS/SUMNERS/FLETCHERS did NOT have shields on the mounts!!! The on mount shields were used on some larger warships, but most quad 40-mm mounts only had the rails around the back of the mount and maybe a couple of small ready service racks mounted to the rails.

If the PE is going to be used on warships that had the on mount shields, fine. But it is wrong for GEARING class destroyers.

Thank you so much for your attention and the question you found.You are a so careful man. yes,you are right.Actually,there are no shields on the mounts for the Gearing ,but our PE for 40mm mount is general set ,so you may have a choice to use it or not, as you wish.
