It's now for about one year I didn't touch anything...
I'm following now, with my wife, three years of evening school to become painters. We learn to draw/paint and we also have some "Art history" lessons. Retirement is within 6 years for me, I have to be prepared for it
two paintings I did in school, quite naïve, I know, but I'm learning for it. First one is oil on canvas, second one is oil on paper glued on a MDF board:


My main focus should be to become a "ship's portrayer", I painted the following portrait of "Proteus" two years ago when we did a little course by a painter at Brussels:

Life is too short, I'm 47 years old, becoming a teenager again.
And to accomplish my complete burial, I still have that *#°&% 1967 wooden sailboat that desperatly needs a lot of TLC:

By the way, just got from a German fellow modeller a wonderful shipyard plan from the Flensburger Shiffbau Gesellschaft, dating from 1889, of a German emigrant ship for the european-australian run via the cape, running under sails & steam, being 333 feet long. Yummie, my fingers get itchy!
