My wife has placed an ordr for 2 kits OPH Reaben James a.d the AdmirL Chabnenko both wth th fixens., my problem with the rrussia DDG will b the paints that I will need ,she is part of the northern fleet... what paints shoild I use to paint this ship since wme is out of stock. Russian Navy paints are notoriously inconsistent, even within each "Fleet". I would just eyeball it after looking at some pictures. But relatively speaking, it's much darker than most other navies' paints - see this picture, for example: http://navsource.narod.ru/photos/02/224/02224029.jpg

I would suggest first to decide the year you are going to depict the ship and then try to find the correct sheda of grey by looking at photos...
