BRM-35001 releases today.... a 1/350 Fort Drum Concrete Battleship full of photo etch, brass barrels, resin, and fun!

What a fascinating and unique subject. I'm curious. How on earth did you decide on this as the second release of Blue Ridge Models?

Well..... it was actually supposed to be first, but Nautilus just happened to get done first

As far as how we chose it... I wanted to build one and the best way I knew to do so was to have one made because there was not one in 1/350.... and so why not offer it everybody? So... then we needed a company name.... and in a nutshell that was how Blue Ridge Models was born

It is a really nice work.
To arrange 22pages of manual is really hard work too.
Of course other Resin, PE or Brass doing are also not easy.

I have received 1:350 Fort Drum last Friday, it looks so great for 1:350!

Now I have planned that I building for two models, same than in box for about 1920-1930 and present!

Present's model I will did stratchbuilding.

I can hardly wait for mine to arrive. I LOVE strange and unusual subjects and the Ft. drum is that in spades! I almost bought the 1/700 scale version, but the 1/350 scale will be so much cooler.

This one in particular was done by John Sheridan in 3D CAD for RP printing... and Mike Czibovic worked the RP part into the physical master.
