USS Wedderburn DD-684

This is my recently completed square bridge Fletcher class USS Wedderburn DD-684. I chose this particular ship as a friend of the family served on board from 1962-64 as a GM in mount 52. I found some pics of her at http://www.navsource.org/ showing her during that time frame.

Yes, I tried version 1 but all my pics are too big, so I have been trying version 2. Still no luck

If you type [ img ] (without the spaces) before the link and [ /img ] behind it (again without the spaces, those are just to fool the computer) you'll be getting your photo directly on the forum.
If you resize your images before uploading you both save quite some storage space online (which means you don't need to pay for extra room all that quick) and the method shown above will work quite well.
For internet use a long side of 900 pixels will do fine.

I forgot to list what I used in building her. I started with a USS Sullivans kit, added G-Factor brass screws, KM PE campaign ribbons and Squadron shield. Used Alliance Model Works 1:350 WWII USN 5" 38 Cal. for the gun mounts, Campbell scale models HO scale Black Chain for the anchor chain. I scratch built the mast out of plastruct and some PE from a Blue Water Navy kit. The stern name decal I made on my computer as suggested to me on this forum. While I know I can do better, I am overall pleased as this was my 1st ship build in almost 30yrs. Lessons learned will be applied to my next build which will be the USS USS Reuben James (FFG 57).
