IJN carrier hanger decks

I am currently building the Tamiya IJN Junyo and the Sky-wave IJN Unryu and want to show the elevators in the down position. Does anybody know what color(s) the hangers of IJN carriers were? Any help would be appreciated.

White side walls and grey decks. Check out this site of a 1-350 scratch build of Zuikaku for an idea of how the construction should look. Very well done.
