There three bastard ships that there are kits for, they are all "Glow-in-the-dark" Nukes:
1. Cyber Hobby & JAG 1/700 USS LONG BEACH CGN-9
2. Iron shipwright 1/700 USS TRUXTUN CGN-35
3. JAG 1/700 USS BAINBRIDGE CGN-25

We all shared the task of babysitting "THE BIG E". BTW, THere was another class of Nukes Besides the Virginia Class cruisers, It was the USS CALIFORNIA CGN-36 and JAG has a kit for it. There was four in the Virginia Class and two in the California Class. Ahhh! And who could forget the six Pegasus class PHMs! 1/700 Pit Road w/FFG Oliver Hazard Perry .

Carl i noticed your ch53 on your New York was popping a wheelie. I don't glue down my aircraft. So on dragons ch53's i add the rear ramp down to keep the nose down. I use the sheet that pe comes on for the ramp. Works well for me and it adds a little touch to the aircraft.

Well, here's another class of USN Post WWII in 1/700 to check off the list. I've modified the Corsair Armada USS Garcia DE-1040 kit into the USS Glover FF-1098.

Another beautifully built and photographed addition to your magnificent fleet. I'd seen the "In-Progress" start and noted all your other recent activities (alas, in 1/350) as well as your "travelling ship model photographer" endevours. Congratulations and best wishes for every success.

Still, good to see those 1/700 modern U.S. Navy ships hitting the waves.

I thought that I'd finally finish this 2 1/2 year old in-progress build. USS Scott DDG-995 using the USS Chandler kit from DRAGON.



Mostly just railings left and the water base.
