Yokosuka Gray

Post by medicmike »

Anyone know of which Testors gray would be close to Yokosuka Gray? I have tried a couple of conversion charts and had no luck. I use mostly Testors paints but also some Tamiya paint so either would work. Any ideas? Mike.

I am about to start on a 1/700 Yubari in early WWII around the time of the attack on Wake Island. Any suggestions on color in either Testors or Tamiya?

I think that there are more choices for you in Testors acrylics than Tamiya. I went to the Testors website and on page 2 there were alot of the German colors that looked close, and on page 3 there were a couple also. Too bad they didn't have the exact Yokosuka gray paint match like they used to. Hopefully they will expand their line in the future.
