Simply, 11F1 is Missouri as she appears today as museum ship, which is the same fit she's in for the Battleship movie. That's why it's the "Battleship" version.

9F1 is Missouri in 1991 during final active service. The difference from today is the arrangement of her aft deck, as noted.

Thank you, I understand now! I haven't watch the Battleship yet. Just thought that it might be a computer graphic version of Missouri using in the movies of some sort.

Do you have any plans to sell a set without the wood deck? I already have your wood deck for New Jersey.

I am very sorry that these Iowa class detail up sets have their own wooden deck designed and fit only to PE, resin and Brass parts included. Our previous released New jersey Wooden deck (35006wd1) is not fit this detail up set because 35006wd is designed and fit only to standard New jersey kit not other detail up set.
So 35006wd1 is cannot fit to any of these Iowa class detail up sets (even to 35008f1 New jersey detail up set).

Thank you

John,
Yep we can sell the board and ring set only...
One suggestion is... If you buy these, as a service, you can also get 6sheets of PE, some veteran model resin parts and brass parts over 110. And more extra Wooden deck will also come together..
If you wish more, we can send some instruction manuals too for this Board and ring appying...
This basketboard set price is 159.98USD. please remind "Our loss is your gain..." (but no discount anymore).

Thank you
Kim

P.S. For applying this basketball set, you should have one 1/350 Tamiya New Jersey kit (old or new version) :cool_1:

ummm..thank you but not quite what I meant. I've already completed my New Jersey as Wisconsin and we had the basketball goal. I tried to make one and its only so/so.

I couldn't make use of the entire kit :( I was hoping you might sell me just that one piece.

I am sorry that we can't supply basketball ring only becauae this is included in large PE frat.
Another matter this basketball set and Teddy Bathtub is just eastern egg not main detail up parts.
So we donot think these seriously.

The Pontos up detail set for the 1:350 USS Missouri information states that it is for use with the Tamiya USS New Jersey kit, will it work with the 1:350 Tamiya USS Missouri kit?

I don't think so bonford, because it is for the modern Missouri and not WW-2 area. You know, all the changes and so on which on Iowa's were made during modernisation are only as kit present at Tamiya's New Jersey kit which you need as basic modell for that Set. Missouri kit from Tamiya is lacking them all with her WW-2 outfit.
But I think Mr. Kim will explain more in detail. :wave_1:

Unless, of course, he gets the new 1991 Missouri that just came out - in which case he'd have to decide whether Pontos' resin parts or Tamiya's newly-tooled Missouri-specific parts are better.

Hi,
These 5 Iowa sets can be applied on only the Tamiya New Jersey kits(old or New version).

Tamiya old USS Missouri kit is WWII type so these sets can't be done absolutely.
And WWII version Iowa class ship detail up sets will be released at Spring of 2013 (based kit is Tamiya old USS Missouri kit)

Tamiya new released USS Missouri 1991 Kit can't also.
But we will release USS Missouri 1991 set for this new Tamiya Missouri 1991 (Circa) version within near future.
This new detail up set is slightly modified from our 35009F1 Missouri 1991 detail up set.
We have no plan to release other Iowa class detailup sets based on this new Tamiya Missouri 1991 kit.

Briefly, we will release only Missouri 1991 detail up set with based kit Tamiya New Missouri 1991 (Circa) kit.

Thank you

Thanks, all.

You solved my problem perfectly, even if I did not like the answer.

WOW Kim, an amazing work!

When I saw the set I had to get it, so now it's on his way from Lucky mode :cool_1:

Just one question, when you say old/new kit (for the New Jersey), do you mean the first release in 1984 (78005 kit) and the latest 780028? What's the differences between those two kits? A friend of mine is selling me the old one (78005), is there any big differences between the two? I'll be using your set of course.

Thanks, Sandro

You can use our 35007F1-35011F1 for 78005 or 78028 kit both.
Mainly because almost new added or modified parts at 78028 have been realized at our sets.
All our applications shown on these threads are 78005 kits.

Thank you

Kim,

I received my Iowa Detail up kit, and I really like it. Thank you very much for putting the effort you and Veteran did into this. It's wonderful, and it will really result in a great Iowa kit...and in my case an excellent Iowa WIF model.

Thanks so much! Your products are amazing!!!
