There're much more images in my latest page, plus images of my artists (model builders), and link to MM Annual Report 2012:

PS. Sorry that I can't post images anymore. This site gave me an error message that "Your images may only be up to 1200 pixels wide",
but the images on my site are now at 1280x852 pixels - as big as could fit most LCD screens. It's better to view there on my site. :wave_1:

I think it looks great and I am glad someone finally listened about the forward boat davits.

Very nice work on the camo! But didn't it carry to the superstructure too?

Thanks for your kind compliments. It did carry on to the "superstructure" if that means parts higher than the deck.
In the last image, the main guns are in two colors.

Fwd boat davits were removed in 1940-ish. Don't recall the exact dates off the top of my head. Could have been the same refit where the bow was replaced.

Just looked it up and they were removed during her major 1941 refit.

looks really nice... I have this kit and the Dragon upgrade PE set...plus brass barrels.. Im not happy with the look of the dragon Pe rails for the main deck...no sagging between the stantions.. Yours look like they do have this . What Pe set did you use?? Im a little surprised by the looks of the 20mm single guns that come with kit.. They are alot diffrent looking than the 20mm singles that Bismarck carried.

Martin, thanks!

Bill, thanks much for your kind compliments and comments. For this ship I gave my builder all the aftermarket products I could find - Cyber Hobby's (Dragon's) Upgrade Set, MK1's Upgrade Set and MK1's Wooden Deck. He did not use Cyber Hobby's one, saying it's not good as MK1 (no sagging like you mentioned) and much less parts. The 20mm single guns have detail-up parts from MK1 too, making them look different from in-box parts.

Very nice rendition of the Scharnhorst. The camo looks great. But the original colour guide for 1943 (Battle of the North Cape, assuming thats the look youre going for) would also suggest that certain areas of the camo on the hull would have a white keyline. Also the aft and bow was painted in white. http://www.whiteensignmodels.com/brochu ... rboard.jpg

Thanks for your compliments and comments, Bissyboat! As for the camo scheme, my builder probably followed the painting color guide. :heh:

The single 20 mm's seem to be missing the shoulder rests
