Canopies

Post by Angeliccypher »

Okay guys. I know I am a gluten for punishment here, but I am hoping someone can help me as I am becoming frustrated with this and am out of ideas.

I have the Trumpeter 1/350 SBD, TBD, and F4F sets. I am trying to figure out a good way to paint the frames on the canopies. I tried Vallejo's liquid mask and that was about useless in the scale. Especially since the frame lines seem to be recessed. I am open to any and all suggestions (with exception of the "paint the entire canopy").

Thanks in advance.

Many years ago, I did their Franklin kit, and used a single strand hair to carefully apply the paint on the frame: http://www.modelshipgallery.com/gallery ... v13-08.jpg
