And finally..

Adding some small details makes the model look more interesting, I think!
The needles at the stern indicates thet the stern was moored to the shore by two cables at this height and in this direction

Well, here she is.
All in all, and including tug and boats in the scenario, I used 4035 parts to build my Tirpitz.
I think the model presents a fairley accurate Tirpitz at this point in time.
Anyhow, an impressive ship at the peak of her ("his" to the Kriegsmarine) power, before it was realized once and for all that the glory days of the BB was over.

You have done a wonderful job on the Tirpitz! Many thanks for sharing the modifications methods, detailing, accuracies and etc. It will serve as a really great reference for my Tirpitz once I get a Revell kit.

Thanks again! :thumbs_up_1:

Thanks for nice commets guys! - Even though it is now quite a long time since I finished this model.
But- as said in the thread, accurate models of the Tirpitz are not seen as often as his brother (?) ship Bismarck. (German Kriegsmarine called their ships "he" - not "she").

I wonder: Is it still so today?

To Lieven 1982: I enclose two photos I took of the Tirpitz moorings in Fttenfjord (side fjord to senfjord, which in turn is a side fjord to Trondheimsfjorden.
Tirpitz had more or less permanats berths in Norway in:
Fttenfjord, close to Trondheim)
Bogen, side fjord to Ofotfjord, close to Narvik
Kfjord, side fjord to Altafjord, close to Alta, and...
Hky, an island close to Troms were he was sunk

Notice the steep terrain up into the hill. A narrow road runs up there. Decending to the mooring is difficult, but supported in the worst places by the work of German personnell during the war. I recon the very most of trafic to/from the ship was done by sea.
