This morning I made one change, which in my eyes is one of the most important! indeed the top of the castle have well-marked features before 43 ! to start the new lower deck was equipped with these bulwarks



bulwarks that are lower in "angles" and those, to enable shooting against a in negative azimuth plane
comes the turn of this change



I assure you I'm not in burnout by creating me of "Pikachu"
the both ears are just the "balconies" receiving the rangefinders, which I believe ,are for the followed of projectors (120 cm)
these are "balconies" quite hard to recreate forms, and as I work "like the ancient " (I'm not a 3D printer )
it is very difficult to have two pieces exactly the same, yet I am not unhappy, because the result ,is in my opinion, fairly close to the truth





your comments are well come, and do not hesitate to criticize if you see a problem, because I'm trying(well, the top of the castle) to make a master ,if the mood takes me a day to rebuild a Richelieu

If you need some criticism Nicholas, I have one complaint. You are too damn good at this!

I mean, you aren't even using plans, are you? Do you just eyeball all that stuff? That's true artistry!

Anyway, I'm paying lots of attention to your work; my next project is a 1/200 Pennsylvania and I want to learn to do what you do!

small news of my boatyards, I finally got to work on the second part of the "horns" presents on the top of the castle

it did not air, but these two pieces my given quite a lot of problems! the end of its "horns" are intended to receive the yardarms

in this closeup, you can see the yardarm "put" in place, the tube portions is here to give me an idea of the proportion of the t�l�pointeurs of projectors tracking , and finally stacking of rangefinders

Hello,le bosco The enlarged basal part of the yardarms seems incorrect in the kit,so maybe it's better to rebuild the yardarms.

this is the basis of yardarms who need to be modified. as you can see in the picture



a rectangular section of Evergreen profile, was glued under the original part. the thickness of the base is 2.5 millimeters, for come "die"
at 0.5 mm (srory for use of syst�me metric)
the primer has disappeared,because I'm trying to pierce the portholes and other "shelters" for position lights "

Hello Guys

A low back pain (lumbago), keeps me away from my worktop the project is a little slowed
but the wind-baffles section ,were molded in resin,and it worked no need to try to assemble the PE flyhawks,which is almost impossible to do
I treat myself and I come back

thanks Richard and for "my" D Day memorial ,it's the least that I can do !this what scares me ,is that the younger generation in France begins has forgotten I do not speak in the regions concerned ......

Don't worry too much about that, I visited many war memorials and war cemeteries in France...from Vimy Ridge to the Normandy beaches to Oradour sur Glane and numerous in between them. I'm always impressed and touched by the respect the French pay to history and it's casualties.

Perhaps the youngsters living in the big cities...far away from where it all happened are more concerned about the newest mobile phones, latest fashion and whatever more teens find important, but I know the French education is very good and the way the French raise their kids is an example.

I'm afraid it's much worse here...and in many other countries.
