Missile deck details, of which there are not many. Presume these bulkheads are fairly void of objects as the area was subject to high temperature missile exhaust.

Some photographs, starboard side, the area one deck down from the missile deck (01 level). Note the rails on the bulkhead just inboard of the 5 inch mount. I believe these are for an elevator used to strike down the Harpoon reloads.

Some photographs of deck vents, port side abreast of turret three. These are numerous and of many different sizes. The vents should have a screen covering the opening at the top, we have not replaced these yet.

You are welcome, more to come. I did not get around to the photographs until after the ship was open to the public, too many people (which is a good thing) around to get some of the other photographs. Of interest, the deck on the 02 level under the missile deck is still the original teak, althought the space is now closed in. It is a bit strange to walk in this area, completely enclosed, with teak decks under foot.

Interesting to see the ladders on the turret face have been removed.

Some more details of the 01 level port side. First two photographs are behind mount 52, the remainder are further aft behind mount 56. The 01 level stops at the boat davits and continues aft the davits for a short section.

These are beautiful pictures. The best I have seen. They will help with many scale builds Im sure.
I do have a question about the portholes. Are those 12 rivets or bolts around the port? cant quite make out the detail.

Take a look at the photograph on page 63 of this forum, look like slotted screws. I scrapped all of these down to the brass, that was enough work, never had a desire to try to pull them from the bulkhead.

I am thinking of modelling Missouri in WW2 fit...the Tamiya kit seems hard to find now have seen a Revell kit in 1/350 is this a rebox of the Tamiya or a different kit? What would be an average price I'd be looking to pay for the Tamiya kit if one should appear (gb pounds)?
