Hello all
Low back pain is hard to leave

, but nothing to do with the beginning of the crisis!! Work continuous on the Richelieu, but the work is splits into two at this level. Indeed, I judge that work on the diorama could begin at this stage and for those I have to determine the size of the portion of port. The work was greatly facilitated by the fact that the hangar of the port of Dakar still exists and its dimensions have not been changed, and thanks to Google Hearth and its tool "measure" I have determine accurately the dimensions of the portion of the harbor, a reconnaissance photo dated of 42 is available ........!! So I could finally determine the overall layout of this harbor
In the blue arrows, where the sea has: in yellow, part of the breakwater: in red the quay and for the black arrow, a sailor .... Just for the scale
Viewed from the rear
From the front
And finally in the sense of "reading" of the dio
I remind you that the action will be more focused on the rear, or are the catapults
The largely empty of sea which could be a default in normal time for the eye ,but for once, justified because indeed ,it is here that the two anti-torpedo nets and the cylindrical floats are installed, that'll give a little "more" at my eyes on this diorama.
nota:the hangar and the breakwater are of "rough drafts" to the right size, but not detailed
cheers
Nicolas
