An amazing fully working 1:144 scale USS Harry S Truman

Bill Clarke my old friend is over in the UK from the US for his annual visit to the Intermodellbau in Dortmund and as Bill originally worked on the Big E and lives close to Norfolk Viginia I thought it opertune to introduce him to Paul Bannon who has just completed this Amazing 1:144 scale model of the USS Harry S Truman. Here is the result of the photo shoot.

This is truly an amazing model . I say amazing not just because of the quality of the build but the number of working features , including a functioning steam catapult , fully illuminated deck , internal as well as external lighting every elevator works , and revolving radars. My thanks to the builder Paul Bannon and the Colwyn bay model boat club for the help given when taking these pictures.

Absolutely amazing! The level of detail is extraordinary! That looks like years of building going over a LOT of reference material. Simply amazing.
