.whats the best way to clean new Photo etch parts? soak them in rice Vinager?, supposedly rice vinager is stronger and has a more acidic effect. Or just wash them in soad and water?
I'm open to any suggestions

I use lacquer thinner. Strips any any petroleum based residue and evaporates quickly. I'm hesitant to use soap and water for fear of residu left behind.
I've heard of some using vinegar to clean the PE and also give it a slight surface etching to help paint adhesion, but I've never tried it. After cleaning I alway prime PE with Mr. Surfacer, and have not had any adhesion problems.
