1960ish aircraft carrier decks?
I have another question for the pros around here....does anyone know if there was any rhyme or reason why the landing area on carriers of this era was sometimes painted a darker shade than the rest of the flight deck? I've looked on navsource and it seems like it was hit and miss, some had it, and some didnt.
