Kim,

I appreciate your reply re. additional/other detail sets for future release of your MISSOURI 1:200 Detail Set. At this point I can't imagine further super detailing unless it involved offering superstructure/hull parts for the 1950's mast/radar upgrades and the 1967 NEW JERSEY modifications for her Vietnam War service (my era!).

Thanks for the wonderful photos and information!

Hi Kim,

I am looking forward to receiving this upgrade and starting on my build. It looks absolutely fantastic. I was wondering if you all have plans to do an upgrade for the Merit 1/200 USS Hornet?

Thanks,
Neil

I think the 200CV in Kim's post refers to the Merit and Trumpeter kits.

Kim, this Missouri set just keeps raising the bar !! I look forward to every new release. If I recall correctly you hoped to produce detail sets for Hood, North Carolina, and Massachusetts. Any idea when these may be forthcoming?

Deck detail: Please, please, please, get the waterways right. They are the width of the chocks on the main deck (18 inches) and 12 inches in the 01 and above. This thing is too big not to include this overlooked detail.

Main deck waterways are mainly 15inches.

Since you were already aware of the waterways, can it be added?

I think the waterways are already there, just that the first row of the railing makes them look narrower than they actually are.

Kim, this set is outstanding! I can't wait to get started on mine and have preordered two sets of them. I'm really looking forward to see what you can do with the USS Hornet kit.
Great work and thanks for posting the photos for us to see what we are buying. One suggestion would be to add some spare watertight doors so we can pose some of them open. I think there are two needed on each side of the bridge entrance.
Thanks.

The waterways are allready there. You just can't see them due to the railings being in place.

Mr Kim, could you add some extra chain for the paravanve at the front of the bow?
Thanks

Is it just me or does the bitt look a little out of scale? Too large?

Hi Kim,
I have a question and a suggestion....

Question: Can you share with us how you glue your photo etch in your test pictures? I see no sign of glue or solder. Yet they look very secure.

Suggestion: 1/200 Arizona! Hopefully a correction for the Hawse Pipes. I hope that you include your deck edgings like you did in the Missouri. I don't know if this is possible with photo etch, but the stanchions along the hull are quite robust and the pictures I have show that they are chain and not rope. They also have extensions to support the canvas shades on the foredeck and aft deck. I would love to see the extensions available somehow. Here's a photo of the center support and how it was rigged. A back date option with range clocks would be very nice as well.

Thanks for making great products! Can't wait to get started on my Reuben James model with your recent set.

Dear Dave

Thank you for your Question and Suggestion

Answer: We used just loctite 401(Henkel). Loctite 401 is Korea's most popular super glue and cheap.

Arizona :We'll try to accept your suggestion unless something comes up.
And I already designed the Range Clocks.^^

Hi Kim,

If you are going to release 1/350 Kongo for Aoshima kit and 1/350 Bismarck for Revell, I will be very happy waiting for the kit.
By the way, could you please also include Canopy etched part for the plane, I did not see it when I was building your Warspite, and it was really a pity.

This afternoon, I received an email notice from Freetime Hobbies and UPS that my pre-ordered Pontos 1/200 Missouri set had shipped. Sounds like they're in-country and I'll have it in hand very soon!

We've started to ship these to the dealers from last Wednesday based on the order time of preorder.
And some quantities of these sets were delivered to Brandon.

Anyway Congrats if you get soon.
