Whilst these are not strictly IJN accessories, they are non the less a great addition to a ship dio. Scroll down for the others in the line.

The drydocks are kinda cool. Wish I had the time, and room, to build a yard. Between these, the dockyard accessories, and the crane sets that are available these days, so cool.

Might be, but it's not clear (to me) what, exactly, is provided.

Here's your answer Dan, it's the Fujimi Yamato as commissioned, with this http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10076048 also by Fujimi.

And check this out: http://www.hobbyeasy.com/en/data/bvlpeo ... xloid.html

Boy this'll really dress up the old Tamiya kit, about all that's missing are brass barrels.

Summer 2014 issue of Navy Yard (Volume 26) features some detailed side-by-side photography of the armament accessory sets that were the initial focus of this string. And lots of insightful commentary in Japanese script.

I wonder, the base is styrene, and the buildings could be painted cardboard (like Tamiya's offering).
