Seeking plans for HMS Tiger. I found some very basic hull lines on the net, but no details. Any help appreciated.

Where did you find the hull lines?

There are useful reference photos in "Clydebank Battlecruisers" and a passable plan and outboard profile in Burt (British Battleships of WWI).

The hull lines are partial, formers with an abbreviated profile of bow and stern, as well a few partial waterlines. I believe they found on a russian site that seems to no longer functions as it did.

According to the caption, that's HMS Queen Mary -- and the forecastle doesn't cut away early enough to be the Tiger, whose secondary battery casements start quite far forward.

Having said that, I believe the hulls are quite similar, so that would be a good reference anyway.

The caption says that's Queen Mary -- and it doesn't look like Tiger -- the Tiger's forecastle ends much sooner, as the barbettes for the secondary armament start quite close to the bow. Having said that, I think the hulls are similar, so that's a good start.

The delftship model may prove the best source I have yet seen for hull lines if they are indeed accurate.

I viewed a build somewhere on this site for Tiger (seem to remember it as 6-7 foot) but I cant relocate, has been awhile.

A query,.. were the rudders of Queen mary "canted"? It is one of the features (besides where I found the drawing) that made me believe it was Tiger.

Yes, they slope outward a few degrees (i.e. the top is nearer the centerline). See Roberts' 'Battlecruisers' for a good Queen Mary plan -- almost certainly where the image you linked to was taken from. That book isn't terribly useful for Tiger, unfortunately.

It seems every source viewed has a slightly different take on the hull below the waterline. is there any known source that can provide an accurate profile, short of trying for original copies via museum?
