Re: 1/200 USS NIMITZ - 2003
Thank very much friends. Your words are so inspiring to continue this build.
I continue building the RHIB dock in the port side of the ship
Adding details

Finishing the RHIB crane and attaching the boat

And finally building the RHIB dock ceiling and installing lights

Testing lights

Thats all for the moment. Thanks for watching

Seeing work of this calibre gives me a target to aspire to, all be it a very distant target, but such a wow factor.
Look forward to seeing much more.

Woah now, how the hell did I miss this build until now?!
Looking very nice, I am going back to the beginning of this thread to check out every step so far.

I second what Ryan said!!!! Holy cow, nice work and craftsmanship! I love all of the detail you are adding to it. Simply amazing that everything you are building is all from scratch.

Re: 1/200 USS NIMITZ - 2003
Thank you very much DWD. I like your work in your Enterprise too. Youe level of detail is amazing.
New updates on the Nimitz.
I have started the flight deck. First of all, i have drilled the holes for the future lights.

Next. i have covered the entire flight deck with a layer of 1 mm. Evergreen.

And finally (for the moment) y have installed the reinforcements on the flight deck for the arresting cables.

Thats all friends

Hi Jaguar very nice work indeed. It is always difficult to combine working features with a highly detailed model but you have achieved both .

hello friends.
Keep working on deck. I have just finished the anti-skid layer, and im about to begin fitting the pad eyes. A very tedious work, but necesary
