Sigh. And I just shelled out for the Samek 1945 kit because it looked like my last chance to get one in that scale.

Why not in 1/350 too ... or any other of the US Dreadnoughts at all in 1/350 beside Arizona? :(

Very exciting to see a new player in the plastic ship game! (I'll keep my 'but I want 1/350th!' cries to myself. For now...)

I'm praying this will have a full hull option but it's probably going to be waterline only.

Also really excited about the 1/350 offering announcement of New York and Texas from Trumpeter. (and on an unrelated topic, their 1/350 Dreadnought and a 1/200 Hood!!)

It's to be 1944, eh? I'd prefer the early war fit for contrast with Texas 1945; but I might :heh: have to get one anyway.
Great news, both of them.

Hey guys,

Sorry we have not commented much on this announcement. We thank you for your patience while we finish this project up.... we will be able to show the 3D design renders so you can see exactly what the kit(s) will contain very soon.

Well at least i've got time to save up. Will have to divert a bit of my tax refund into a safe place so I don't spend it. :)

Bringing out New York was a very logical step with Texas. I'm sure a few of my Empire State residing friends will agree.

Even though I know a lot about the texas I don't know much about similarities/differences with her sister ship.

I kind of wish you guys would be working on an upper pressure hull so those of us who have the new 05114 ROG type XIC can fill the void beneath the main deck. :wave_1:
