I've been trying for days making cage aerials with the method I used on my 1/192 Glatton : disapointing, it's impossible (for me).
Has anyone made cage aerials at 1/700 scale, and with which method ?
It would be very useful on my 1/500 model

In fact I used the same method but there is one important point I did not respect : the first 2 threads must be horizontal.
I tries again using UNI CAENIS and 0.1 mm copper wire rolled on a 1mm steel rod. And it worked !
I still find it too big for my 1/500 destroyer, look at the pic (The aerial are strage looking because they are not under tension)
