Sorry 20mm has no change.. but one old Oerlikon shooter has cried for harness, so this may be added.

Advanced set can be bought separately for basic set pre owner.

Thank you

Mr Kym could you please answer my email I sent to help@pontosmodels regarding the damaged photoetch sheet I received in the detail set I bought for the Missouri. I sent you an email about three months ago with photos of the damaged frame and your first email said you would replace it . I am still waiting for it to arrive and cannot proceed with my building and the set is too expensive to buy another.

Thudman you need not buy another set.
I have shipped these parts every week.
So yours had been shipped at one time.
Can you send me your email again with your name and address?

I will arrange again for you.

Wow, very nice and exactly what glue or adhesive is used for the PE in these pics? Flawless and I would buy a lifetime supply.

Kim,

Still waiting for the second attempt to send me that missing s/s fret for the 1/200 USS Missouri. Any word on tracking the shipment? Sent you a couple of e-mails, but haven't heard from you. If it can't be done I'll bite the bullet and order another complete set from Brandon.

Thanks, Gary Hanson

Gary, I guess we are both in the same situation. Expensive if we both have to buy another set just to complete our ships. I really don't want to go down that path and it would be my last purchase from Pontos if I do.

You guys might want to try emailing them from a different email address - maybe your original emails got caught in their spam filters.

You might also try this forum's PM function.

Odd - maybe it ended up being a return mail? Perhaps Brandon can help you get the parts and have it mailed more smoothly.

Same here. My original email was answered by Pontos and they asked for my mailing address to send a replacement fret. I even sent them photos of the damaged fret so they could see the damage from the packaging. Never got a reply after that even when I emailed them to ask if the fret had been sent. Great product and customer service?
Sorry to read that you had to order another set.
Garry, don't want to sell me a spare fret of photo etch do you? Happy to buy one from you and help you save some money.

Me to (but 1/350 Warspite set). I've emailed Pontos several times since January and they're getting my emails OK as I've had 2 replies. Pontos have promised to send replacements but nothing has arrived. No replies to last 2 emails though. I really think Pontos need to step up this side of their business or they will severely damage their reputation and people will go elsewhere in future.

Meanwhile we all know that the clock is definetely ticking differently in Kim's office. That is not a catastrophy in itself, only if one believes it!
Dear Mr. Kim, would it be possible to give the modellers who are waiting for this set, when it will really available? No nonsense, no "months by months pushing", just good plain old truth! If it is in June, it is in June, we are grown-ups, we can take it!

Thank you very much for your answer (if it comes ...)

Would like to add that the spares I needed have now arrived. Thank you Pontos. Let's hope this is the same with others who are awaiting parts.

Kim,
Can you update us on when the advanced set for the 1/200 USS Missouri will be released? Also, what will it include and the estimated price? I'm just trying to figure out if I should go ahead and buy the Veteran Models quad 40 mm sets now or wait for the advanced Pontos set which will reportedly include them. Thanks.

Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me what the part numbered 739 are for? There is a whack of them and I can't find them shown in the manual pages. Am I missing a page?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Hi Chris,

IMHO these are the stanchions for the main deck rail, something like the attached picture. Took me a great while to find it out but I know meanwhile that a lot of researching and studying needs to be done with the Pontos sets. Comes with it for free! :thumbs_up_1: We have to Pontos users form self-supporting groups due to the lack of communication from Mr. Kim.

Best regards,
Dietrich
