WAS WONDERING IF THEY ENDED UP SENDING YOU ALL THE PARTS IN THE END..,AND ALSO WHAT WAS THE QUALITY OF THE HULL YOU RECIEVED IAM HAVING MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH MINE

Hi, no basically was "tough, we're not sending you anything else" or in their own words "sorry seems not able to sent the parts you need .i feel very sorry. the work tell me he can't give those small parts you need."

Hull was I have to say quite poor in places although nothing that so far hasn't been manageable. The stern section was quite by far the worst and to be honest very poor quality in this area.

Are you doing a build thread too?

No im not anymore mate, My model hull was way to broken and warped no instructions and to be honest alot of parts missing very poor quality all over
But on a good note they refunded my $1400 dollars
So im on the hunt for another big ship model from somewhere if anyone knows any good companys please let me know

I see, mine in the scratch build section. After a few mails without reply, I stopped mailing and bothering and just started scratchbuilding whatever there was missing. Occasionally also scratchbuilding parts that were there, as the quality is also pretty poor. The PE set is pretty good though...
The stern is indeed the most notable failure in this kit.

I have been told that Voyage Models are supposedly good http://www.voyagemodel.com/en/index.asp but when I have emailed I have had zero response. I quite fancy giving their Invincible a go http://www.voyagemodel.com/cqzx-n.asp?productid=320 ! Apparently the guy doesn't speak any English so doesn't respond (so why do a website in English?????) so will get my missus to write for me!

What sort of model are you after? Modern, WW2, Cold War?

I know of a company that has a very extensive array of semi-kits in 1:72 scale. APS Models of Australia.

APS doesn't have a website as they are already flat out with a six month backlog, however word of moth has seen him receive orders from as far away as the US, UK, Europe and elsewhere.

They do a wide variety of semi-kits, ranging from almost complete down to some that are pretty much just hull, some fittings and a plan.

Check out the links in my sig block to see the variety of kits on offer, the vast majority are APS kits.

Thanks to you and also travelling_man because you have created my interess in Udaloy boat I'm building.
I have build previous Perkasa also from Arkmodel !
The kit I have received has the deck already in place but the task about access to inside hull is not easy.

Let me know which battery you use and running time. I suppose I should go lipo because the access is too much narrow for lead/gel bateries.

Also how do you run your antennas ? 2.4 or 35 Mhz
