I saw the first test shots on Norm Kroger's site years ago! Finally! Have to start saving money.

I believe you can still download the demo. Let's you fight 3 Russian Cruisers at Olsan with 4 Japanese Ships. Graphics are cool, and I like the way you can pan around the ships and change views. I made short work of the Crusiers last night.

The beta test period is about over. I will repost when the 30 day trial is added. I think you will enjoy this game.

Tim, I used to play a game about the Guadalcanal Naval Campaign where it was all ship to ship gunfire. Is this going to be like that? I hope so, as it's about time. Don't care much for the first person shooter games aor A/C games. :wave_1:

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't see any new posts in here (bad cookie). I am playing the beta and it is really cool.

It plays similar to fighting steel, but with some really cool changes. You steer in 3d view by selecting the path and right clicking to issue the order. You also right click to select target options. Right now it is nearest leader, free fire, or hold fire.

You also scroll around the view with your mouse, and can fly around the ships. Graphics were just updated to add some flying bits for shell hits. I like to see things fly off when I get a hit.

I am able to run it on my laptop with slightly degraded visuals. So it should play well on any desktop with a decent graphics card. Norm and crew are still fixing some bugs so the demo will not be out until it is ready.

Oh god! we have timmy and kenny as moderators for this section! We are doomed.

I play EvE Online. Charactor name Left Handed, and on my second account Hunger Pains is my other charactor name. If anyone plays feel free to contact me online. This game I hear is popular in england.

See now I'm currently playing Avalanche Press' 1904-1905 The Russo-Japanese War, a hex-and-counter wargame. As good as this computer version looks, I'm never going to give up my face to face games on subjects that I'm interested in.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Very neat indeed. It looks kinda like a pre-dread era fighting steel (hopefully without all the bugs).

I want it when it comes out
