I wonder what it was that was burning ? A slow drone like that shouldn't have masses of fuel on board.

They wouldn't spread like that - that was a flammable substance, probably fuel

It doesn't take "masses" of fuel to make a large fire. A friend of mine had an engine fire while taking off in an EP-3. The flames shot back the length of the aircaft and lasted through the emergency shutdown procedure, two fire bottles and the then-standard resetting of the oil shutoff circuit breakers. Post-incident analysis showed that an oil seal had ruptured and the engine was pumping the oil directly onto the exhaust manifold. Max oil capacity on the T-56 engine was 8.65 US gallons. Not alot, but enough for quite a show.
