Oh , the difference between ametaurs and those who know what they are doing
Joseph came, and Joseph conquered.
The reason my speed controllers melted all the time, too many AMPs for them from the battery set up I had.
Any way, now yamato has 4 fully throttled motors, the rudder, 3 operating turrets, lights(to be fitted, but wired ready to go), AA fire sound effects, a voltage display, and too come(wired but i have to fit the servos yet) BOTH gunnery control stations will rotate in line with respective turrets.
The last are wired, but I have to make some mods to the gunnery stations, and some how feed the wire through the superstructure (a hole is there, but...........)
Everything works, but is not neatly placed or mounted yet, as we want to put a heat sink into place as well for the throttle controller.
I am particularily pleased at how well and smoothly to scale the turrets turn, the "ball bearings" do the trick just nice
Overall, this week of holidays, working on the boat has been magic.
Photos below also show the latest project, the aft crane, which has been a real delight to build.

Not finished yet, it just swallows materials, and I have run out of L shaped styrene for today
back to work monday, think I need to retire soon and do this stuff full time.....................(LOL)
