That's the Shimakaze. States that it'll be an injection molded plastic kit. ETA this summer.
Thanks for the lead - will add to list.

That would be impressive, in 1/350.

I hope it ... really! It will be awesome, even when the usual "wrong hull discussion" may come or some silly errors included, better as nothing like now!Caesar Ho wrote:Please also see the attached. Royal navy aircraft Swordfish and Fulmar in 1/350!
I'm suspect trumpy will release Royal Navy's carrier in 1/350 in the future
The advantage of wisdom is that you can play dumb; conversely, it is more difficult.

Timmy,
You should add to your 1/700 plastic list, the FREMM AQUITAINE from Freedom Models :

No worries, though I don't usually add modifications of existing kits (e.g. new lower hull, extra PE parts) to the list anyway.Jack G wrote:HLJ have 1/700 full hull Aoba and Furutaka listed as pre-orders for February release

Asagumo in 1/700th from Pit Road.
I know, it amounts to a name change to an existing kit; but we've not had a plastic Asagumo before in that scale to my knowledge.
WWI is not my era nor 1/350th my scale; but that K-class sub is great!

When it rains, it pours - Fujimi has also announced a 1/350 Shimakaze, in addition to the one announced by Max Factory earlier: http://www.fujimimokei.com/feature/files/shimakaze.jpg

Re: *Inj. molded plastic* Upcoming Ship Kit Releases
Given the price most likely will give 2 level fight deck (maybe even just 1) with a transparent body/deck. Not like many people made use of Dragon/Trumpeter/Aoshima's clear deck option, so a gimmick that is likely, mostly, useless. Unless you want to do a full cut-away ala MFH Yamato. If they somehow fix up Akagi's hull on the other hand...Nah scratch that, Fujimi never does hull shape right.

Does anyone have any news about Marat by Zvezda, and Kaga by Fujimi, both 1/350 ?
Or are they new versions of the Sleeping Beauty tale ? If so, I'd like to see the Charming Prince hurrying to the Castle ...
