thank you fellows...

yes - this is a part of my PE set dedicated to IJN Kirishima:

I'm using thin wire for rigging - 0.05mm diameter. I ordered tungsten & molybdenum alloy wire which went under special heat treatment together with pulling processing. I have it straight - even rolled. When unrolled becomes straight again.

Would be just great to see them !!! :woo_hoo:

Yeah, I may have to hit you up for a set of those trestles with pulleys when I get around to building my Kirishima.

I hope these pics are of some help. There is a high altitude photo taken by B-17s of Hiei at speed in a turn, trying to evade attack off Guadalcanal on November 14, 1942, but I can't seem to find it now.

water, water, water... I'm not a big fan of doing it....
heres's a preliminary plan of wakes:

Any criticism here is more that welcome ! I cover the hull very thin food foil. It should be easy to remove and place the hull as long as necessary

fortunately small boats don't have such concerns

one will be even totally rested:

Well I have been through the whole post and tomorrow I have to see the doctor because my jaws hurts too much after dropping too often on my computer table! Thank you very much for pushing the limits further and further, even if , among us , few can reach that level of creativity. Reading D. Kaplan, or Jim Bauman or Jose Socca and others comments when even them lack words is certainly a thrill. My word will thank you for inspiring me to do better! Keep it up and as the Japanese people say: Ikimacho! Go ahead! Cheers, Jean.

This build is just awesome!
Matchless is the word - at least I can't think of many modellers even trying to imitate it as this kind of work requires special abilities and skills much beyond the scope of even the most experienced assemblers of model kits!
I think your PE could be a commercial success if marketed (though you might have to simplify it in order not to scare off potential buyers).

And that's the preliminary look - just to check arrangements and positioning. Items not glued down . Still several fittings will come (masts, vents and rigging)
