yes - this is a part of my PE set dedicated to IJN Kirishima:





I'm using thin wire for rigging - 0.05mm diameter. I ordered tungsten & molybdenum alloy wire which went under special heat treatment together with pulling processing. I have it straight - even rolled. When unrolled becomes straight again.

...There are several photos of the Kongos generating wakes at speed. Do you need those?

Would be just great to see them !!!

Yeah, I may have to hit you up for a set of those trestles with pulleys when I get around to building my Kirishima.

I hope these pics are of some help. There is a high altitude photo taken by B-17s of Hiei at speed in a turn, trying to evade attack off Guadalcanal on November 14, 1942, but I can't seem to find it now.

This build is just awesome!
Matchless is the word - at least I can't think of many modellers even trying to imitate it as this kind of work requires special abilities and skills much beyond the scope of even the most experienced assemblers of model kits!
I think your PE could be a commercial success if marketed (though you might have to simplify it in order not to scare off potential buyers).

but I got new frets for admiral motorboats Funnel made from bras tube 0,3mm








And that's the preliminary look - just to check arrangements and positioning. Items not glued down . Still several fittings will come (masts, vents and rigging)
