Been working on the old girl on and off since 2011. It has Fujimi's own PE plus Veteran models turret set.

Hi Jose



If I remember correctly I use Tamiya buff with a slight brown oil wash. Never been too happy with shiny white blast bags.

Thanks Andrew! Next time i paint some blast bags i'll like to change the color to something like yours.

Beautiful Hiei. I have this in my pile of "to do" kits, though I plan to include the Laffey closing on the behemoth.

You mentioned that you used Veteran's turrets. Is there a big issue with those included in the kit?
