Re-packaging is nearly done. The WEM website is being updated and should soon be functional again. I am hoping it will be no more than two weeks before you will once again be able to order WEM Photo-etch. There will likely be some shortages initially but hopefully not too many. My goal, as with Tom's Modelworks, is to always have all sets in stock.
I assume that pre orders that were with WEM hav died and that we will need to re order?

Hey John, do you know if anyone has expressed an interest in picking up your Koenigsberg 1/350 new release? I got the impression it was nearing completion. Thanks Dan

Last I heard from Dave on that subject, he was talking of selling the pattern off to someone else. I don't think it ever got beyond the CADD stage.

I've just seen this thread ...... I've been buying from them for years ........That's worse news than hearing Trump won the election in the USA!

Does anyone know whether 1:600 etched fittings are being continued elsewhere?

Lots have changed since this was announced. Richard Harding at Tom's Modelworks is continuing the PE line (still being sold under the WEM label and site, but now in USD: https://www.whiteensignmodels.com/), while Peter Hall's Atlantic Models and Mike McCabe's Starling Models are producing/selling the 1/350 and 1/700 resin stuff, respectively.

I had a talk to Richard yesterday, and we agreed that I would be importing his sets to Europe, so WEM sets would be available here soon. If you need something from Tom's or WEM, I am in progress of planning a restock. I would not manage to order every set now, but you can order them over me.
