Thanks for your advice. Now I am prepared for a possible computer crush... I did what you mentioned :)
The ocean scene looks good, but the sunlight needs to be better realised. If you don't mind me asking, how are you setting up your sun/sky in Cycles?
In fact it is my first attempt ever to complete the scene. This is why you can still find so many faults. Now I know much more about it (e.g. look at the horizon... is should be flat in a distance - in my picture it is not..)

No problem: I use 2 blue emiters (planes) to get some specular effect, 2 spots and a HDR map + Ambient Occlusion. That is all :)
The Navy Tug would be a gorgeous model when finished.
The tug must wait a bit. Now I am starting with a commercial project:

As you can see I am going to be a quite busy man :) But the long winter is coming... :)

I have finished a next project - motor trawler "Humbak". I hope you like it :)
