The Campbeltown is interesting as a small dio having it crashed into the drydock doors is possible. And some WWll era destroyers are very interesting, too. I would still like to see the German WWl G37 destroyer in an individual release. And, WHAT!! No 1/72 armor!??? In any case, more 1/700 really GREAT kits coming!

Great if the mystery release is a county, town or colony.

An Illustrious would be incredible although I have a lot of things collected to upgrade the old Aoshima kit.

How about we try and match the clouds in the top of the picture to see if we can come up with a better guess. Everyone could search the photos of what would be their ideal ship to release.

I posted this in the main thread and missed putting it here. This is what shows up when I overlay the flyhawk mystery photo with the photo taken of Illustrious in the Indian Ocean. Clouds are like fingerprints.

I forgot to say a Leander in my wishes for Flyhawk. Don't know how I could have forgotten that!

Excellent detective work. Now, of course, follows the question "why did Flyhawk remove the image?" They did not remove the appropriate aircraft from the posting so why the carrier? Production issues? Did they find out that another company will be making one and so pull the ship release to cut losses?

Previous reports of an Aoshima Hermes are likely in error. It was probably Flyhawk all along. This is my guess but I cannot read Japanese or Chinese so I cannot confirm.
