Saw Merit's new ship releases on a page of Merit's 2016-2017 catalog on a Chinese board the other day. But for the life of me I can't seem to re-locate the image. New items are two versions of 1/200 IJN Mikasa, and 1/350 WW2 HMS Ark Royal.

Probably because other than L'arsenal, there's no alternative for fulmars currently in the market? I mean the Aoshima attempt can scarcely be considered usable..(not to mention not available other than in kits, not that I'd want to buy them if they were released separately anyway).

Or Flyhawk may be planning bigger carriers, hope so!

On the basis of the evidence seen so far, that would be most welcome; or, at least have a tie-in with another producer, so the costs can be ameliorated.

The list is quite something else, so somebody IS interested in RN subjects!

In a world where big scales are taking over, I hope that Flyhawk will keep on with this amazing effort in 1/700. RN J-K-L destroyers? One of them with 8 X 4in. No doubt M and N to come. I hope IBG finds success with its Hunts too, and proceeds to do all the small ships with Polish connections. Blyskawica is the obvious one, still extant.

(Oh, I don't really mind if they do 1/350 as well, it's just that the big scale always tends to take over.)

Just received the Flyhawk Naiad this am,and I was amazed at the detail in it.Although I do 350th models ,I may well have a go at this one, but still wishing it was 350th ,in which case I would have bought 2 or 3 or 4 ........
