Look how pale the yellow was. Very muted.
Have fun, Monkey around. TM

Looks almost a light buff or tan colour.

Do we know that the footage was shot in colour and has not been colourised?

For me, and maybe just for me ... ... the "unpainted" rangefinder hoods and areas beneath are dead giveaways. If this had been b/w footage, the "faker" presumably would have never made the decision to leave these areas in light grey. The reason is, that the RAL 7001 and the RAL 1003 are indistinguishable in greyscale. Never wondered why Prinz Eugen in Gotenhafen b/w photos featured "light grey" horizontal turret tops with dark sloped turret tops?

Even smallest details in the Gneisenau footage appears in colour, and this would have been a heck of work to fake, just for the sake of fooling us? And wouldn't it been wiser to fake Bismarck footage? :heh:

Bismarck footage of the final battle from the RN perspective is under embargo until 2017... so just wait a bit and new info may appear soon. Then start coloring

Why did they put an embargo on it? Didn't they win the battle? Or because they kept on pumping shells into that burning and blood-sodden wreck?

Anyway, do you expect colour footage from the battle/battles/hunt?
