Black Dog Dock Accessories 1/350 or 1/700?

Post by NukeMM »

I just received my Black Dog dock accessories order from Free Time Hobbies. (Thanks, Brandon! :wave_1: )

I like all of the accessories however, I was intending to use them for my 1/700 diorama. They are marketed as being 1/700 scale.

I'm finding them to be much, too large for 1/700 and more likely to be of use in 1/350.

I've compared the Black Dog items with 1/350 and 1/700 (1/720) vehicles. 1/350 in the foreground, 1/700 in the background.

I'd like your opinions on their proper scaling.

Sure looks like us 1/350 guys can sure make use of that stuff!

Any idea what the pile that looks like a single layer of cushions on the left side is supposed to actually be though?

That smaller pile of "cushions" is the same as the large pile, just smaller packages.

I'm thinking that these stacks are modern era methods of packaging/enclosing pallet loads.

They're nice! Just too, big for me and my 1/700 stuff.

Hmmm... Wonder if these will make a decent addition to Lincoln's aft hangar bay...

Pretty disappointing thread, but saved me money. They do look nice.
