If Flyhawk's Naiad is any indication, this will be one hell of a carrier kit!

Just wondering, does anyone know what modifications or omissions would be needed to portray the Hermes in her mid-30's fit when she was based in Hong Kong doing anti-piracy patrols? Obviously the pom pom forward of the island and the lantirn radar on the top of the mast would be gone.

Nice, lets see how she compares to the Aoshima kit.
-> Canal watcher: Hermes was practically unchanged between being build and her loss except the pompoms and radar. You will have to be careful with the arrestor wires though. Between commissioning and 1926 she had longitudinal wires, between 1926 and 1933 no wires at all and after 1933 transverse wires.

The Indian Ocean. Sunk off Trincomalee, Ceylon (as it was then) by the Nagumo battle group very early in the war.

If it is Early-war, and Pacific/Indian Ocean, then it will be something I eventually get.

The "Dream" is to eventually get all ships that were involved in surface or Carrier Conflict in the Eastern Theatre.

Flyhawk have announced a 1940 HMS Illustrious, which should be convertible to a 1942 HMS Victorious which was in the Pacific sometimes known as USS/HMS Robin
