Well it's tedious going, I scratch built the Phoenix missile mounts under the fuselage, the front gear doors and the sensor wings not to mention the custom lettering, like I said tedious but I think rewarding. On the A-6 Intruder I built a partial interior just so it does not look weird with the clear canopy also hollowed out the intakes, still have more to do, 9 Tomcats and 11 Intruders and then there's the rest of the airwing!
April 29 2018, I am happy to report that I have finally completed my 1/350 USS Nimitz airwing.
I do have to confess I have taken some artistic liberties and changed things up a bit with paint schemes and yes this is not the current airwing on any US aircraft carrier, to me however the aircraft I chose represent the best airwing possible, each specialized to a specific mission!
My opinion though!

I was on Nimitz 77-78 Med cruise with VS-24 Scouts part of AG -8 ... Your birds look good.
