Looks super Song! This is an area not well covered by many of the drawings. The whole area of non skid was covered by a regular pattern of tiedown wells.
Coming along well! Cheers: Tom

Looks as if you can build a whole hull more quickly than some of the guys correcting the Trumpeter kit can do the hull mods! I presume you will add the small centerline keg under turret three after planking? Not shown well on some plans.
Cheers Tom

Re: 1/200 NEW JERSEY
Looks similar to the building of my Missouri hull n 1965 for Balsa! About 1988 I modified it to reflect the proper stern Skeg configuration and bulbous bow area. I ended up covering the whole hull with the super light fiberglass cloth as used by model airplane builders. The idea was to make it a RC model, but the ex-wife made off with all the RC stuff.
Looking good! Tom

The aft end of the helicopter deck does not fair down to the fantail. but is an abrupt edge, perhaps 30 cm or so. I don't have them on this computer but will see if I can find a coupe of photos of this area for you.
Cheers: Tom

This is superb!! Really mind-blowing wood crafting skill!
I really want your perfect bow scaled down to fit my 1/350 Tamiya one!
You made an excellent build of which I will be watching with great interest.
Best regards,
Aop
