Song!
Hull looks fabulous. I have a similar device for marking waterlines, though your glass surface is a much superior base for marking than my drafting table which does not slide as smoothly as glass.
Cheers! Tom

Yes you are right. Flat surface is important for marking the hull, So thick glass is very good base.
It's more progress pictures of superstructure.

I am curious as to the reason for the two square openings aft in the first superstructure deck?
Looking very good! Tom

Thank you,Sean and Tom!
Tom! It's nothing the square openings.
There is a knot on the wood. I hate it, so i removed it.
The other is a just visual balance.
Regards; Song.

Re: 1/200 NEW JERSEY
The third deckhouse where it meets the round lower coning tower support actually stops at the same place as the second deckhouse, the forward extension is open top and bottom and covers large ventilator openings. I'll see if I can come up with an illustrative photo.

The structure above the mushroom vent on the superstructure is actually open top and bottom and covers a large vent opening. This photo is aboard Missouri, 2013.

Some brilliant woodwork again. Love the mix of different types of wood for the helo deck! Paint job came out very sharp as well.
