AH, COME ON MAN!!!!! Wheel-chocks?!?!?!? I mean, you guys in the States don't have free health-care, so how can you afford all the medication and therapy?!?!?!? I have said before that you are insane , and I thought I was kidding. No! Instead you are kidding me with your perfect tow bars and perfect Tomcats and ...AAAND to top it off: individual fan blades for your scratched engine??????!?!
GODDAMN!
um....um.... I dunno....I am out of words. I am speechless. There are no words in my vocabulary I could use to describe the way you are doing this carrier-business. My mind just imploded in search of words........... Well that's unfortunate , because now I became a vegetable. And I really wanted to finish my Nimitz, do a bunch more hiking, visit more aviation museums, travel to places with my wife , grow old together with her... now I won't be able to do any of these things... because she won't live with a vegetable... Now I will die alone ! Because of you! You ruined my life with your amazing skills!!! I hope you can live with yourself! Good day!
Doug: ............................... ( I am still speechless... I will get back to you in a few days) But the word "amazing" is a gross understatement!
Happy new year, and keep on keeping on with this magnificent build!!!!!!!
Cheers: Laci

Re: 1/350 CVN-65 USS Enterprise 2001
Hi there
I had to register here just to express how much in awe I am of your build. I was researching builds ready to start mine and I came across yours. I have yet to pick my jaw up off the ground
I have to say, this is some of the best scratch building I have ever seen
I do have a couple of questions for you
1) How did you get that Still Motion Photographic CD? I was on their site but couldn't find how to buy information
2) I don't suppose you still have those drawings of the hangar bay do you? I have tried so many times to download the PDF from that link but it always times out
Thanks for any assist you can offer. I am looking forward to seeing more of your build
Kind regards
Simon

Hey Madhatter,
Thanks for the comments and following my build. I sent you a PM in regards to your questions. My build has slowed considerably. Hopefully I can get going on it again soon.

Re: 1/350 CVN-65 USS Enterprise 2001
Well, I figure it's been a while since I last posted so I thought I would update my progress. I finally got a bunch more of the 3D printed stuff from Shapeways that I had been waiting to purchase. A lot of it is designed by Greg (aka gjholmes77). The quality and detail on some of this stuff is amazing!! The first couple of photos are of the 3d printed pieces. The rest of the photos are of them painted and additional items. I still have a bunch more to do for stowage, boxes, weapons, carts, etc.... I also purchased the personnel boats but haven't had a chance to detail and paint them yet. I will update with those later.

Re: 1/350 CVN-65 USS Enterprise 2001
Sorry I haven't posted more. I have been working on painting all the 3D printed stuff I bought from shapeways. I haven't gotten any further on the F-14's. I believe I still have 6 more to build up to where the rest are but still far from completing those. I still have to start working on the F-18's since there will be a few of those in the hangar. The hangar deck has just slowed this build down significantly. I think I kind of got burnt out for a while. Hopefully I can kick it in gear again and get this portion of the ship done so I can move on to the exterior of the ship, which I am really looking forward to. I appreciate you guys following my build and again, apologize for not posting much in a while. Hopefully I will have some cool stuff to post soon. I have been working on trying to add more detail to the 3D printed stuff and put as good a paint job on the pieces as possible. When I get a little further, I will post more again.
