Installing 40mm ammunition racks inside gun tubs methods?

Does anyone have some simple but effective methods for installing PE 40mm ammo racks inside of the gun tubs? They are "rowed" with 3 to 4 rows in each tub. I need to install them in 1/200 on the Missouri build. I doubt I would even attempt them in 1/350 or smaller.

On a 1/350 tub I used shims made from plastistrut and placed (not glued) several around the floor of the tub. Then set the PE rack on top of the shims and used white glue to set it in place. Do the same with the other two racks but leave the shims in place until it's set and dried then pull them out.
This worked a-ok for what I did......someone else may have a better solution .

Sounds good! I always got crooked and bent racks in my tubs .

Well if that SIMPLE AND FAST technique isn't to your standard..then maybe you should enlighten us my friend...it would seem us mere earthlings are inefficient...

I didn't trash your suggestion. It's a perfectly viable method. I was asking if anyone else had other ideas/methods that might be faster.

Then I misunderstood your comment.

In a "how to" section on another modeling site (a little while back), a fellow came up with a tool using "EverGreen" square stock glued into a "T" shape with a few pieces of "Half-round" stock attached around the edge of the "T". Just place it in the tub and set the PE on top of it..but not all tubs are the same size or shape so several kinds would be needed. And it still requires spacers between each level to keep them all equal
I tried it and it works. But it requires one to make a jig for each type or shape of tub they are working on...and the end result looked no better than the "shim/spacer"...so I don't know......
