Some intensely delicate work here! Deeply impressed.

Carry on!

More great work you've done. Can't wait to see the entire vessel fully assembled. :)

My I ask what colors are you using for main hull and the gray on the deck? also what are you using for the weathering.

All of the colors and stuff have already been gone through in pretty detail already in the past pages.

Simply amazing. The work on those guns is impressive to say the least. I have to ask.... how many parts to each of those guns?

The guns have 17 parts and the base 7 so 24 in total. All the parts also require multiple folds so the work tends to add up!

Here's some progress on the starboard aa sponson.

Pretty straightforward building not much extra detail added. The fit was terrific so no seams to even fill.
Take care there's 3 different types of closed triple 25s with small differences of when they were added to the ship.
I followed the Tamiyas instructions on those.

Finished.

And on the ship.

Hey guys,

I'm off for a few weeks so I resume building end of the month/next month.

I started the superstructure a bit, killed some seams and added some details etc.
The fit was mostly damn good, only made sure that glue oozed out of the seam and couple of swipes with a file and some sanding and all the seams were gone!
That's what you'd expect from a kit this price to be honest.

In the mean time you can enjoy all the other wonderfull build out here!
