Any thoughts on why the upgrade set would have both stainless steel parts for the launchers and turret tops as well as Brass. I can't find any reference on the net to anyone talking about the stainless steel parts let alone using them. I cant seem to get a response from Pontos either.
Well, my Pontos (2012) set included some S/S parts as well as identical brass parts and I've yet to hear an valid answer as to why. I didn't use any of the Pontos metal turret tops and those came in both metals.

As of right now, it seems I saw somewhere on this forum recently that Kim was no longer at Pontos, so I haven't a clue as to his replacement.

Hope this helps (?)

Just Duplicated parts.
So you can use one in two materials though we recommend to use brass one
SP means spare part.

Hi everyone,

I am looking for downloadable pdf file with the instruction for Add-on Set. I can't find it on the Pontos webpage. Can anyone point me, where should I look for it?

And the last question: in this thread some of You suggested opening a new thread with Pontos instruction support group :heh:
Has it happened? Could You post a link if yes?

Thanks in advance,
W.
All the Best,
Wojtek

I have been trying to get a hold of Pontos to see if the can help me out but seem to get no response from them. Have sent two email 1 over a month ago and the other just last week, can anyone help me out. I am looking for the wood floor kit that I can use on the 1/200th scale USS Missouri that I am turning into the USS new Jersey, I need the floor with out the catapult mount holes. Any info will be helpful.
Thanks everyone.
