Loose Cannon is not out of business
Hi All,
I've had some inquiries about this, so to set the record straight, here are the facts:
Loose Cannon has Temporally halted production while moving to Philippines. We hope to be back in production come July or August.
We've sold all remaining kits in stock to Freetime Hobbies to reduce the logistic tail.
Also to reduce said logistic tail we've returned to Hugh all the Loose Cannon West masters. It will be up to Hugh to decide if those kits remain OOP or are reissued.
I'm looking forward to this move, LCP as has been pretty much a one man show since it's inception. Once we get this move done I'll have some good help to take some of the load. I also know a couple of web gurus there that can help get our web site back into operation.
This move was supposed to happen this month, but my wife requested we delay until June. So like any good husband I said "Yes Dear". The delay leaves me time to focus on several new kits I've been wanting to get done, so I'm happy for the delay.
Thanks to Everyone for their Previous Support & we hope to see you again shortly.
David

Great new David; look forward to the 1918 HMS Argus. Just ordered your 1/700 USS Joett DD-41 1912 kit; any WWI-era kits in the mix? Best of luck with the move.

Re: Loose Cannon is not out of business
How can one tell the difference between Loose Cannon and Loose Cannon West models?
I have a couple of Loose Cannons in the stash, hopefully that will last me until things get restarted!

Yeah, first I've heard of this. I'm INTRIGUED now! 5 bucks says hes setting up shop in Visaya some place. If he sets up here in Bataan, well then I'll offer to become a charter member minion and we can conquer the whole archipelago and encase it in resin. lol

From what I heard all the models in stock were sent to Pacific Front Hobbies so that is where you would have to look to find the kit you want.

Anyone have any new info on them ? I noticed their domain name ( as linked by MWS ) has gone down. I am probably just being jittery, but I am still suffering from the loss of Colourcoats when WEM went away.

Colourcoats was bought by me in December 2014. There was a 6 month gap in production and sales while my wife and I set up Sovereign Hobbies around our acquisition and have been back on sale since April 2015 with direct sales to the UK, 2 dealers in the USA, 1 in Germany, 1 in the Netherlands, 1 in Denmark and 1 in Australia

Update from Loose Cannon, now in the Far East
HI Guys,
We have arrived in Philippines! Finally! We got here last Sunday evening, 16 July.
Maybe we can be back in production before September. A lot of things still to do, like build all the tables & shelving for the factory, get some additional electric run for the compressor, get a web site set up, find suppliers for various items like kit boxes, rubber gloves, ect.
Most of the LCP East masters & molds are already here, (see the previous post for LCP East & West kit lists) the rest are still languishing in a Jacksonville warehouse, waiting for the shipper to get their thumb out.
We're in Malolos, Bulacan, and you are welcome to come by anytime and say hello, if you are in the neighbor hood.
More as it Happens,
David

Loose Cannon instructions needed
Would it be possible to get a copy of the instructions for the following kit:
Kit #72 - WORKING BOATS - JUNKS/DHOWS/TRAWLERS - LCP WEST ?
I built the kit some time ago but would like the instructions as I try to sort out some of the boats contained in it.
Thanks,
Mark
