Re: 1/200 NEW JERSEY
Eureka! I've found the build to guide me!
That is, I've found guidance if you don't mind that I copy your procedure, Song?
I wish to build USS Iowa (not sure what version yet) in 1:120 scale for model railroad modules. I have not scratch-built a ship previously. I have tabletop CNC mill and lathe and intend, instead of wood, to use ABS 1/4-inch plastic sheet for hull and structural areas. I'm learning Fusion 360 CAD/CAM software so I hope Iowa will teach me several things as I go along as I will 3D draw parts for the ship.
Thank you much, Song, for building New Jersey and sharing that build here.

Re: 1/200 NEW JERSEY
Hi Song,
Absolutely brilliant work!
Can you please tell me how did you make the AN/SPS-49 RADAR? Is it from bamboo like the deck railings? Then how do you make such fine strips? I have tried with wood and bamboo skewers but they never turn out neat and uniform like yours. I had given up progress on my ship because I couldnt make the radar and difficult parts out of wood, but now I see you have done it so easily. You are truly a Master! And the helo is fantastic too.
Regards,
Phil
